DE1270 HD Mobile Wireless Endoscope Camera

Operation

So long as the endoscope has a “standard eye piece” the DE1270 coupler will be compatible. If you are not sure if your endoscope has a standard eye piece please contact Firefly with the make and model.

If the flexible endoscope has a “standard eye piece” the DE1270 will be compatible.

When in use, either use the coupler’s focus ring or the focus ring found on the flexible endoscope. Using both with cause the image to remain blurry.

To achieve the best image, it is helpful to focus beyond the honeycomb effect caused by the fibers in the flexible endoscope.

While the DE1270 is perfect for in-office procedures, the camera cannot be autoclaved or soaked for disinfection. If the DE1270 will be used in procedures where it could get wet or contaminated, a plastic sheath is required.

FireflyPro captures images and videos in standard formats which can be uploaded to most EMR/EHR systems.

The power indicator light should be RED when charging. If the light is flashing red or steady green please make sure you are using the original short USB cable. Using a different USB cable can cause the device to not charge properly.

If that does not work, please try using a computer USB port instead of the AC charger or vice versa. If this does not solve the problem please contact Firefly as you may need a replacement USB cable.

Other

Please send an email to sales@fireflyglobal.com and specify how many and what size.

You can install FireflyPro Mobile on any number of devices but the device itself can only be connected to one device at a time.

On a full charge the battery will last about 2.5 to 3 hours of continuous use. If the image quality starts to degrade you most likely need to recharge the device.

As for the longevity of the battery – Our wireless devices use batteries much like a cell phone – If you charge the device every night it will start to degrade over time. Replacing the battery yourself is NOT recommended as the device may be damaged in the process. Should you need a new battery, email us at contact@fireflyglobal.com.

If you have any questions, or if you need assistance, email us with your name and number (or best way to reach you) and we will get back to you as soon as we can – support@fireflyglobal.com

All Firefly products include a 1 year warranty. For warranty issues please contact Firefly: contact@fireflyglobal.com.
